Why consider upgrading to Resident Membership?
As your needs change, you may find that upgrading to Resident Membership better aligns with your lifestyle or family. Resident Membership includes a variety of additional privileges, some of which are:
- Complimentary Childcare
- Complimentary Guest Privileges (guest policy applies to all Houstonian Club guests)
- Special discounts: 20% off services at Trellis Spa, 10% at The Shop at the Houstonian, 10% at Sage 'n' Bloom Floral Studio, 20% off food at TRIBUTE and 10% off food purchases for food-catered functions at The Hotel**
- Gate-Accessed Parking
- Private Fitness Center
- Complimentary Use of the Club Meeting Rooms
How is the upgrade fee calculated?
The Resident Membership upgrade fee is the prevailing Resident Membership initiation fee (contact the Membership Sales Office for current pricing at
membership@houstonian.com) less the original initiation fee you paid for your Associate Membership.
(applicable sales taxes apply)
Can the upgrade fee be financed?
Yes, there is a financing plan available that may be added to your membership account.
What is the "Longevity Credit”?
When you upgrade your Membership, we are currently offering a longevity credit to use toward spa services, dues, programs and purchases. The longevity credit is based on your length of Membership.
Membership Length - Credit
Up to 5 years - $1,000.00
5 through 10 years - $2,000.00
More than 10 years - $3,000.00
Longevity credits do not apply to Legacy memberships due to the initiation fee discount.
**Exclusions apply to discounts.

Houstonian Club Membership initiation fees range from $10,000 to $45,000 + tax depending on the type of Membership purchased. Ask about our Corporate and Legacy Memberships options.
*Guests may not exceed 12 visits a year.
** Discounts apply to full-priced products and do not apply to meeting packages. Discounts are available for events with 20 guests or more and are subject to
availability, restrictions, and change.
*** Hotel rooms available for the discount are based upon availability, may not be combined or used with any other hotel room offers or packages, and are not
available for groups.
