Class Descriptions - Yoga

 

Yoga Wall INTERMEDIATE* $40

Enjoy the full range of the Yoga Wall system in all its flavors and variations. You are guaranteed a full spinal rejuvenation that includes always having the option of going upside down, experiencing gravity in a new way.  It's recommended that participants have completed at least 3 Beginner Yoga Wall classes to sign up for an Intermediate Yoga Wall class.  Limited to 6 participants.  Reservations made through The Houstonian app.  

 


Helpful Yoga Wall Info

 - Wear short- or long-sleeve shirts and closer-fitting bottoms.  No short-shorts please!

 - Avoid wearing jewelry.  Bracelets, necklaces, and dangling earrings can get caught in the straps.

 - We work in our bare feet.

 - Yoga Wall contraindications are migraines, high blood pressure, pregnancy and vertigo.  Reach out to Misha if you have concerns.

Yoga Wall LOW BACKS* $45

Stretch your spine and release your low back in this focused Yoga Wall practice.  No previous yoga experience required.  Beginner-friendly.       
 
Arrive 5 - 10 minutes early.
Limited to 6 participants.

Get the stretch you’ve always wanted on our next-generation Yoga Wall! In this open-level practice, move through traditional yoga poses in a new way as the wall supports your body and gravity does the rest.  Leave more relaxed and with a younger, longer spine!  Limited to 6 participants.  Reservations made via The Houstonian app or yoga@houstonian.com.

Relieve your upper back and shoulders from rounding over the screens, steering wheels, and counters with this targeted Yoga Wall practice.  No previous yoga experience required.  Beginner-friendly.

Welcome to the Yoga Wall, a method of joint decompression and overall structural wellness. Yoga Wall: Intermediate 3-Class Series *$90/member

After participating in the Beginner Yoga Wall series, now enjoy the full range of the Yoga Wall system in all its flavors and variations. You are guaranteed a full spinal rejuvenation that includes always having the option of going upside down, experiencing gravity in a new way.  Participants must have completed a 3-class Beginner Yoga Wall Series to sign up for an Intermediate Yoga Wall Series.

Yoga Wall: Restorative 3-Class Series* $90/member

Never get on your feet in this 60-minute seated yoga practice using the Yoga Wall, straps, and harness with a focus of decompression in the hips and low back. There are no full inversions in this class.  Participants must have taken at least one previous Yoga Wall class to sign up for the Restorative Series.  Reservations made via email to yoga@houstonian.com.
