Mobility Activation Stretch

Lengthen and activate muscles through isometric end range contractions and controlled articular rotations to find asymmetries and target weak muscles. Great class for rotational sports and functional daily movements. Most of the class is sitting or lying and little balance or strength is required.

Sound Bath Journey

A Sound Bath Journey is an immersive, full-body listening and sensory experience that uses sound to nurture your body and mind. Participants settle into a still position, usually on their backs, and receive the healing sound and vibration of Farida’s alchemy sound bowls that invite the brain waves to slow and shift to a more relaxed state.  Leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

Tai Chi for Health

Tai Chi for Health is a mind body practice that combines martial movement with intention and deep breathing. It is considered a "metarobic” exercise that can reduce stress, enhance sleep, help the body function effectively and combat a variety of ills. In this class we will warm up with a qi gong set, practice tai chi movement and sequencing and close with meditation. This class is excellent for beginners as well as experienced tai chi practitioners.

Teen 360*

Workouts for teens. These can be sport-specific, or for teens who are new to fitness. Classes cover injury prevention, corrective movement patterns, cardio coaching, and general nutrition information provided by Houstonian Dietician. For more information call 713.685.7971. Fee based class.
