Everyday Tai Chi

 
Focus on building overall body strength, coordination, and balance in this beginner-friendly energy-based practice.  The work out combines easy-to-follow, slow-moving, mindful Tai Chi and Qi Gong movements done from a standing position in bare feet or with shoes on.

Flexibility Solution

Feel stiff and tight? This is the solution. For those who have a hard time stretching, this is the right class. Improve your flexibility by working in a small group with assistance.

Just For Men: Basic Training

Improve strength,flexibility,agility,coordination in a class for men only.

OUTDOOR Muscle Basics

A modified strength training class using dumbbells, bands, and balls for a complete, total body workout. Slower, simplified moves with more challenging options allow participants of all ages and levels to get the muscle building workout they need. Improve functional and muscular strength, increase bone mass, better your balance, and rev your metabolism with strength training.

Perfect Balance

Improve Balance, Agility, Skills for life, Eye hand coordination - simple drills using a variety of fun props (For ALL levels).

Sit & Fit

Flexibility and resistance exercises performed in a chair; appropriate for ALL levels.

Tai Chi for Health

Tai Chi for Health is a mind body practice that combines martial movement with intention and deep breathing. It is considered a "metarobic” exercise that can reduce stress, enhance sleep, help the body function effectively and combat a variety of ills. In this class we will warm up with a qi gong set, practice tai chi movement and sequencing and close with meditation. This class is excellent for beginners as well as experienced tai chi practitioners.

Voyager Cardio Core & More

A gentle 10 minute rhythmic limbering cardio warm up followed by 20 minutes of strength and conditioning exercises using attached resist-a-bands, and 10 minutes of seated core exercises leading to a relaxing cool down.

Voyager Socials

Hosted by the Voyagers, but open to all members this monthly get together provides time to relax and visit with friends. Some months will include a guest speaker, in an informal setting, to discuss topics of interest. No reservation needed, just stop by. Light refreshments served.
