Sitting in Stillness: A Meditation Workshop* $30

Create a deep sense of peace, clarity and explore the wonderful benefits of sitting in stillness. If you are new to meditation, this small-group workshop provides a sampling of different practices.  If you are an experienced meditator, this workshop can add depth to your current practice.

Slow Burn Yoga

Journey inward through the slow, deep work of this practice to find true balance though linking breath with feeling. Explore the smooth sensations of unhurried movement intensified by longer holds and optional uplevels to attune your mind-body connection. Recommended for active new-to-yoga practitioners and more experienced yogis who are ready to elevate their inner experience beyond their outer techniques.

Slow Flow

Slow Flow is a gentle yet deep, physically present practice of finding movement in breath. This practice offers modifications for all levels at a meditative pace with an emphasis on cultivating space to sit in the breath. Through engagement in balance, flexibility, and strength we bring an awareness to slowing down, calming the nervous system, and overall feeling stronger physically and mentally. 

Solstice Sunrise Yoga & Meditation

Savor the beginning of one of the longest days of the year with a yoga & meditation practice by the pool.  Leave feeling grounded and refreshed for the rest of your day!

Sound Journey

A type of meditation where the sound and vibration of alchemy bowls holds space for participants who find in a position of stillness and silence and effortlessly shift into a state of restful ease where they can be healed, restored and awakened.  Beginner-friendly.

Spring into Action: Float Progressions

Jump in on the fun of "floating on your hands in this action-packed class!  A part of the Ashtanga yoga tradition, floating conditions the whole body as hands stay on the mat and the rest of the body lifts and then lands. Come with a minimum of a 5-second handstand against the wall and leave with more bounce and buoyancy!

Stall Bars Open House!

 
A typical yoga practice has a lot of PUSH (think down dog) but not a lot of PULL (think chin-up).  Balance out your yoga shoulders with a Stall Bar practice!  Stop by this Open House event to find out how Stall Bar classes include strength-building, stretching, and inversions for the very beginners to the stronger athletes. Monthly classes are now on the schedule in January 2023!

Stretch, Roll & Restore

'Want a simple way to feel great?  Sample this hybrid class combining the simplicity of Yoga Stretch with the massage of the Yoga Tune-Up Therapy Balls. A beginner-friendly practice includes effective postures to lengthen typically tight muscles and simple, easy-to-learn rolling techniques with the therapy balls to increase blood flow and range of motion.

Stretchaholics

A class based around healing, stretching and strengthening your entire body. You can expect to open and awaken your structure by safely and creatively challenging your mind and muscles. You'll leave this class walking on clouds.

Sunset Sound Journey

A Sound Journey is an immersive, full-body listening and sensory experience that uses tones to nurture your body and mind. Add sounds of nature to the healing vibrations of Farida’s alchemy sound bowls to invite brain waves to slow and shift to a more relaxed state.  Participants are welcome to float on pool noodles in the pool or rest on nearby lounge chairs. Leave feeling rejuvenated.

Tai Chi

Tai Chi utilizes the mind, breath and fluid, spiraling motions through a sequence of movements called Forms to harness, circulate and store chi or life energy. Each week, our Tai Chi classes focus on a different segment of Wu Style Slow Form. Wu Style is small frame Tai Chi where the movements are smaller and shorter to minimize the impact on joints while still providing exercise for the body and mind.  All levels are welcomed!

Tai Chi for Health

Tai Chi for Health is a mind body practice that combines martial movement with intention and deep breathing. It is considered a "metarobic” exercise that can reduce stress, enhance sleep, help the body function effectively and combat a variety of ills. In this class we will warm up with a qi gong set, practice tai chi movement and sequencing and close with meditation. This class is excellent for beginners as well as experienced tai chi practitioners.

Thai Massage: A Destress Partner Experience* $30/pair

Savor the soothing practices of Thai massage!  Come with a partner - anyone you want to help feel amazing - and be expertly guided through easy shapes and simple movements.  You and your partner take turns relieving tension through intuitive and healing touch.  Leave feeling relaxed, refreshed and wishing the event were longer!

The Pull of Yoga: A Stall Bars Practice

Feel the pull to take your yoga practice to new heights. In this low-intensity, workshop-style introduction to Stall Bars, you’ll learn to stabilize and strengthen your upper body without inversions or heavy gym equipment. Perfect for beginners and those with tight shoulders and hips.

The Pull of Yoga: A Stall Bars Practice* $40

A typical yoga practice has a lot of PUSH (think down dog) but not a lot of PULL (think chin-up).  Balance out your yoga shoulders with a Stall Bar practice to access greater flexibility and more stable joints.. Each class includes strength-building, stretching, and inversions in a workshop-like practice for the very beginner to the stronger athlete.
