Class Descriptions - Youth

 

Toddler Basketball and Tennis*

The basketball portion of this clinic will provide your child with the knowledge of the basic fundamentals of dribbling, passing, & shooting. The tennis portion of the clinic will provide your child with the knowledge of the fundamentals of tennis by improving hand-eye coordination, developing proper technique, gaining quickness of footwork, building confidence, following directions and accelerating learning. This is a fee based class. 

Volleyball

This one hour session focuses on conditioning, skill development, and volleyball game fundamentals for the competitive athlete. For ages 9 years and up.

YOUNGER KID YOGA* (ages 4+)

Cooperative games, theme activities, storytelling and music engage the natural energy and enthusiasm of the 4 year and older child. Classes explore yoga poses, breathing exercises, visual imagery and relaxation techniques while conveying lessons in self-expression, body image, social skills, positive thinking and environmental awareness. Ready to get ahead of your competition and dribble circles around them? The Houstonian’s Youth Basketball will give you the skills to pass, shout, dribble and rebound like an NBA All-Star. Youth Cheerleading and Tumbling*

Become the captain of your cheerleading squad quicker than your friends. The Houstonian’s Cheerleading and Tumbling Class will provide you with top notch skills in forward and backward rolls, cartwheels and even some stunting that will make your friends jealous. Youth Dance (Ages 5 - 7)

Join our newly added dance class with Jessica Sada! Children will learn different techniques to develop their dance skills throughout this class. We invite all skill levels to join us.

Youth Fit & Fearless Self - Defense Camp*

Learn life skills that will help with real world situations. Classes will be active and informative with practical skills to keep them safe. 
 
Ages 7 - 12: 2 - 3 pm
Ages 13 - 16: 3 - 4 pm

techniques and know-how to become one of the greatest. Passing, dribbling, shooting and game situations will put you ahead
of the curve.
