OUTDOOR LEGS

Strengthen and sculpt your quads, hamstrings and glutes while improving mobility and stability. Learn the correct form for squatting and lunging to gain maximum benefits.

OUTDOOR Muscle Basics

A modified strength training class using dumbbells, bands, and balls for a complete, total body workout. Slower, simplified moves with more challenging options allow participants of all ages and levels to get the muscle building workout they need. Improve functional and muscular strength, increase bone mass, better your balance, and rev your metabolism with strength training.

OUTDOOR Muscles

A muscle conditioning class for all levels, using various resistance equipment to build strength resulting in a total body weight workout.

OUTDOOR Pilates

Learn the foundation and classic language of pilates while developing core strength and flexibility. Modifications offered. New comers welcome.

OUTDOOR Pilates Portable Tower Unit Class*

Enhance your Pilates workout utilizing springs, bars, and handles on convenient mobile tower unit. 

Outdoor Ride

Want to get in some miles on the road? Grab your bike and meet Karen at the picnic loop at Memorial Park. She will guide you through a challenging and fun workout at a pace that is comfortable for you. In the instance of inclement weather, class cancellations will be posted on our Group Ex and Cycling Facebook pages no later than 5 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Outdoor Row HITT* - $35

Rowing drills and intervals with body weight and core exercises off the rower. A perfect combination of sprint cardio, strength and core for a 45min! Join Matt every Wednesday and Friday outside in this great Fall weather for this heart pumping workout!

OUTDOOR Tai Chi

Focus on building overall body strength, coordination, and balance in this beginner-friendly energy-based practice. The work out combines easy-to-follow, slow-moving, mindful Tai Chi and Qi Gong movements done from a standing position.

OUTDOOR Urban Rebounding

Stop running and start jumping into shape! Get your cardio workout on a mini trampoline. Intermediate-Advanced. 

OUTDOOR Yoga Body

Practice outdoors in this well-rounded, moderately-physical yoga practice that will warm you up and stretch you out. No prior yoga experience needed for active beginners.

OUTDOOR Yoga Flow

A physically challenging yoga practice that combines traditional yoga poses with the vibes of today’s music. May include on-your-own flow work to music, advanced-level asana work, deep hip openers and inversions. Previous yoga experience recommended.

OUTDOOR Zumba

We take the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you'll see why Zumba Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise.

Padel Academy with Coach Jose and Francisco*

Join Jose and Francisco, Padel Champions for a Padel experience you won't forget. Fee based.

Padel and Extended Tennis Camp*

Padel is a great way for your child to be introduced to a racquet sport. Padel shares identical strokes to tennis and uses a tennis ball. Your child will learn all the basic strokes of tennis as well as learning the interesting and challenging aspects of Padel in using the walls. The class is structured for kids to learn Padel and rally and play quickly in a way that is both enjoyable and rewarding. The Houstonian is proud to have coach Debbie Ladig who is a decorated Padel player having played on past US Padel teams. Fee based camp.

Peaceful Waters

This shallow or deep water relaxation class emphasizes breathing with movement. We utilize arthritic movements that are gentle on the joints and help with increase range of motion with an emphasis on breath control and relaxation. Appropriate for all levels especially those with arthritis or those recovering from joint rehab.

Peak Pose Yoga Practice

A music-filled, intermediate-to-advanced practice, strategically prepping our bodies for one peak pose.  In honor of the end of summer, this practice builds to firefly (tittibasana), a challenging arm balance from the canon of traditional yoga postures.   We’ll break down the position into its key components and see how far our bodies can fly.
