Aerial Beginner Conditioning* $40

No matter how little or how much upper body strength you have, let’s add to it and make yourself more resilient!   Working on the silk hammock close to the floor, participants warm up and condition shoulders, back, triceps and biceps while always adjusting the intensity to their capacities.

Aerial Silks* $55/Per Person

 
Aerial Silks, also referred to as anti-gravity yoga, is a practice utilizing a silk hammock to perform yoga poses and stretches.  The purpose of the hammock is to provide support through your yoga flow while also improving strength, flexibility and range of motion.

Aerial Yoga* $55

Aerial Yoga is a combination of aerial arts and yoga, taught on a single mounted silk hammock suspended a few feet off the ground. The hammock is a prop like a strap or block, intended to assist alignment, deepen awareness and provide immediate benefits of spinal decompression. With the weight of the body partially or fully supported along with the help of gravity and the fabric, you can explore and possibly create space in your body as intended in traditional yoga practice. All levels.  Please wear long sleeves and long fitted pants.

Aerial: Fabric 1*

Ok, are you ready? The fabric journey begins here. This is day 1 of beginner fabric. This class is for people of all strength levels. It’s the portal to circus/aerial dance fabric. We will begin with a short warm up, a little aerial strength training, knot work to increase grip strength and spatial awareness off the floor, climbs, and single foot lock skills. What’s not to love about getting strong and sculpted muscles while playing in the air. Join me!
 
For Aerial Classes:  
 - Please refrain from wearing jewelry to class, it can easily be caught in the fabric. We would hate to have to cut you out of the fabric…and then, you know, have you pay extra because we have to buy a new fabric. 
 - Also, for fabric classes please wear form fitting pants that cover your knees and bring a long-sleeved, form fitting top to protect skin from fabric burns. Seems odd, but you’ll understand once we are up in the air.

Aerial: Intro to Fabric*

'Intrigued by the wonderful world of circus? Come play with me as I introduce you to fabric fitness with a side of circus fabulousness. We will go through a short warm up, some fun strength training to prepare your body, then some skills in the knot. In the knot? Here the fabric holds you and doesn’t squeeze you as tightly as a foot lock and hip key(we need the squeeze to stay in the air….much better than free fall). You’ll learn the lingo, gain strength, and become familiar with some basic fabric skills. 
 
For Aerial Classes:

Aerial: Strength Training on Fabric*

'Not interested in faffing about on fabric? Or maybe you are very interested in fabric classes and worry about lack of strength? Or possibly you are just looking for a new way to train your body? Join me for an hour of full body training using aerial fabric. Don’t worry, we start slow and build. Strength training fun for everyone!

Alchemy Sound Journey

Experience a full-body listening and sensory journey that intentionally uses sound to nurture your body and mind.   Participants, in a seated or lying down position, are surrounded by the pure tones of the crystal bowls that re-calibrate and balance our bodies’ energy centers.  Leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

Align and Define

Take the principles of Pilates to a whole new level...standing up! Improve your body alignment and posture with the use of tubing, magic circles and more. Strengthen your core and skeletal muscles in an upright position.

All Star Summer Camp*

All Star Camps are specifically and exclusively designed for children of The Houstonian Club Members. Our goal is to help children develop healthy lifestyles, exercise routines, and good nutrition that last a lifetime through fun, hands-on, interactive play experiences. Campers will have the opportunity to explore The Houstonian Campus, get messy with arts and crafts and play games that are directly tied to the theme for that week. A-lotta Tabata

Time flies in this fast-paced class which combines the Tabata Protocol (short bursts of high intensity exercise followed by brief rest, repeated several times for a timed interval) with additional strength and cardio intervals for a challenging, efficient full-body workout.

Amazing Abs

Specific, intense and effective class targeting core abdominal muscles. Each class unique.
