Kathryn Sturgis is an RSPA Teaching Professional with over eight years of coaching experience in tennis. A proud Katy native, Kathryn played varsity tennis for Seven Lakes High School, a journey that earned her a roster spot on the Colorado Mesa University tennis team, a competitive NCAA Division II school.
Kathryn credits the foundation of her coaching philosophy to Sarah Flood, an Elite RSPA Teaching Professional, whose mentorship shaped her early development as a coaching professional. As a junior player, Kathryn competed extensively in the USTA Junior Circuit, which propelled her into higher‑level competition on the ITF circuit, where she achieved a UTU of 9.
