Jesus Salgado is a fully RSPA and PTR certified and brings
35 years of experience playing and teaching racquet sports. He teaches tennis,
pickleball, and padel. As a junior tennis player, Jesus competed for Milby High
School in Houston, TX, achieving both district and regional playoff success. In
2002, right after graduating from the Texas A&M University system, Jesus
began refining his coaching style. He opened Cinco Tennis Academy in Katy, TX
in 2005. His goal was to provide an innovative school and became the first in
the Cinco Ranch area to provide video analysis. It has since amassed an online
library with over 1,500 videos of student lesson tracking. Jesus applies his
academy philosophy to the racquet sports department at The Houstonian Club:
"Coaching is about relationships, and is about developing people who happen to
be athletes.”
