What’s up with S.U.P.? Stand-up Paddle Board Class

Bored with your routine? Interested in changing it up? Paddle boarding is a great activity for your entire body. Not only is it fun, but it is beneficial for your health. From helping improve your balance to providing a great workout there is more to paddle boarding than meets the eye.

Paddle Boarding requires a lot of balance to stand up on the board. This means you will be practicing both core and leg strength to keep yourself balanced. Plus better balance can help you with all aspects of your life. Using a paddle board takes your entire body. This means that while you are on the paddle board you will be working your back, legs, arms, core and torso, offering you an entire body workout. As you try to stabilize yourself from gravity, your body works hard to maintain balance. Generally speaking, paddle boarding is a low impact workout meaning you can’t do serious damage to your ligaments and tendons. This also means it is beneficial to every fitness level. It can help you increase your strength and even recover from injury without incurring more harm to your body.
