Summer Reminder
With increased use during the summer months, we ask all Members and guests to be mindful of shared spaces and help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable locker room environment for everyone.
Cleanliness
Please clear your bench space and any areas you use of personal items, dispose of all trash in proper bins, take all personal belongings with you when leaving, and place used towels in designated containers. Keeping the space clean ensures a better experience for all users and helps the locker rooms team maintain standards more efficiently.
Locker Use & Safety
Lockers are for day use only unless they have been officially assigned. All valuables should be secured at all times, as The Houstonian Club is not responsible for lost or missing items. If you notice damaged lockers, spills, or suspicious activity, please notify a locker room attendant immediately so our leaders can address the matter promptly.
Age Requirements
The Resident locker rooms are designated for Members 21 years of age and older. Any child or guest of a Member under the age of 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times, and that adult must stay with them in whatever area of the locker room they are located. (Ex: The wet areas where specific age limits apply.) In the Associate locker rooms, children under the age of 9 must remain with their parent at all times, and children age 9 and above who are Junior Youth Certified may be in the locker rooms as long as they are following proper behavior guidelines which are thoroughly reviewed in the Junior Youth Certification.
Busiest Locker Room Times
Locker room traffic may increase during early morning and early evening hours. Please be courteous with time at benches and in changing areas and remain aware of others needing access to shared spaces.
Etiquette
Respect the privacy and personal space of others, keep noise levels to a minimum, and use all locker room areas and amenities appropriately. Professional and respectful behavior is expected at all times, and Locker Room Guidelines are clearly posted for reference.
Maintenance
Our team works daily to keep the locker room clean, well-stocked, and fully operational. If you encounter any issues, including maintenance concerns or supply shortages, please notify a locker room attendant so they can assist you with resolving the matter quickly.
