Listed below are a few general courtesy reminders for all locker room spaces, based on the feedback we receive most frequently from our membership. The locker rooms are intended to provide a space where all Members can enjoy their relaxation and tranquility time, and following these guidelines will help ensure a positive experience for everyone.
- Please always be courteous of fellow Members and staff by placing your trash in the provided trash bins and towels in the provided towel drop receptacles.
- Please return all robes, towels, and any other items to towel drop bins so that they can be washed and returned for all Members’ use.
- Please secure all personal items in a locker and do not leave them unattended or spread out on the benches in front of your locker. The Houstonian Club is not responsible for items left unsecured. To request your own locker, please fill out the request form through the Houstonian app.
- Proper usage of seating is appreciated, with couches not intended for napping and making that space unavailable for others.
- Please keep conversations and phone calls at a low volume and refrain from using speaker phones in all areas.
- When needing to make a call, please utilize the business office rooms as to not disturb other Members’ enjoyment of the locker rooms.
- Reminder that photography and videography of any kind, including FaceTime calls, is prohibited in all locker room spaces.
- Provided amenities are for use and consumption while utilizing the Club, including food and beverages from Resident Member Appreciation events.
- In the Resident spaces, children under 21 must be accompanied by a parent at all times. In the Associate spaces, children above the age of 9 must be Junior Youth Certified to utilize the Associate locker rooms without a parent, and children of the opposite sex are allowed only up to the age of 36 months in all locker room spaces.
- The cold plunges on the Resident level and the cold showers on the Associate level are not intended for children under the age of 14.
- Please follow the posted time limits when occupying the private spaces such as the HydroMassage and offices on the Resident level and be courteous of time when using the private changing rooms on the Associate level.
- When utilizing the whirlpool, dry sauna, or cold plunges, in all spaces, please shower with soap prior to doing so. This keeps these spaces sanitary and amenable for use for all Members throughout the day.
