Seeing a dear friend experience dementia is painstakingly difficult, but thoughtful support can make a meaningful difference in their well-being. Learn tips for creating a safe environment, communicating effectively, and identifying activities that may create happy, hopeful moments together.

Mehrnaz S. Gill is the Clinical Training Director at Amazing Place and serves as its expert educator for brain health, dementia and aging issues. She is a certified Brain Longevity Specialist and has a Master of Science degree in Gerontology from Baylor University.
