September is the National Month of Yoga
10 to Begin Campaign
Before every yoga class you attend in September, you are invited to take "10 to Begin.” When you arrive, take ten intentional breaths on your own, anytime before class begins. No matter what’s happening around you, your breath is always available. Each week, there will be a variation to deepen awareness, presence, and openness.
Week 1 — Just the Breath
After setting up your mat and props, settle into a seated or supine position. Soften your gaze, breathe naturally through your nostrils, and observe ten breaths. Exhale, relax, then pause to notice how you feel before class begins.
