Yoga Nidra literally means yogic sleep. This type of meditation is an ancient technique where the practitioner enters deep states of conscious relaxation.  By moving awareness from the external world to the inner world, enter a deep sleep where senses, intellect, and mind relax.  Yoga nidra taps into our autonomic nervous system, which is the system in charge of the things our bodies do automatically, like maintaining heart beat, blood pressure, body temperature, digestion, and metabolism.  Beginner-friendly.  No previous meditation experience required.
