Martica Heaner is a long-time instructor who moved back to Houston after 28 years in London and Manhattan. She has a PhD in nutrition and exercise physiology, is the author of Cross-training for Dummies and written for Shape, Fitness, the New York Times and others. She was awarded UK National Fitness Leader of the Year in 1991, was a 1989 aerobics champion and starred in, Body Heat, a British TV fitness show in the late 90's.
